Kitsap
I've begun receiving a magazine that is neither a gift or one that I ordered. The last two issues have arrived with my correct name and address not by mistake. It's a periodical of repute that I have enjoyed but do not understand why I'm receiving it. Am I financially responsible for this unsolicited magazine? Link to comment
Gregori
No - but they may harrass you for years to pay up. If someone filled out the subscription card in your name (as a prank or harassment) the publisher assumes you DID sign up. While you may be tempted to enjoy the 'freebie,' it's probably a good idea to contact them, and let them know that YOU didn't ask for the subscription. Link to comment
Kitsap
I gave them a call, The Smithsonian, and was informed it was a gift from a friend. I never received info that this was a gift subscription but I will be making a call shortly to say thanks. Cool. Link to comment
