johnlt
There is a huge storm hitting AZ as I speak. 60 to 80 mph wind gusts with much rain south and much snow north. Many northern AZ roads are closed including interstates. I'm stuck in Tucson which is just on the edge of the rain but still have huge winds so I'm so frigging bored, I put my bike on the lift in the garage and am detailing it. It is suppose to be the same tomorrow. Can't really ride in this weather (at least you can't have fun riding) so I'm just stuck inside. Now I know how you northern folks feel in the winter. Twisties
I sure hope you and Tom have your cameras out. There's gonna be some spectacular action in the washes. Where is that waterfall Tom has shot before? That thing is gonna be roarin'! And then there will be all the folks... people stories at the flooded crossings. Get out there and get busy. Bored. This is opportunity, sieze it. Link to comment
motoguy128
Now I know how you northern folks feel in the winter. You got a good glimpse... now ifit stays like that for 3 months, you get the picture. It didn't get above 20F for almost 2 weeks from late Dec. through early Jan. with lows clsoer to -10F for several nights... and I'm barely even in the north. I'm almost as close to Arkansas as I am Minnesota. It's supposed to get into the upper 30's today, I had to dig out my fall jacket again. But... I'll admit... that is a heck of a storm. Our biggest snowfall was only about 10" this winter and the winds were only 30mph. I don;t remember too many 20"+ snowstorms with high winds even when I lived in Michigan. Link to comment
bakerzdosen
Big storm here in South Dakota too. I'm hoping I can make it out at noon tomorrow before the bulk of it hits, but I might not be that lucky... Link to comment

Mike
Well, I was gonna post one of those "You ain't seen nothin'" replies, then I clicked on a news story. Looks like you really got walloped! Be safe. Stay inside. Surf the web or do what we Chicagoans do: go out to your garage and stare at your bike, longing for better days. Link to comment
