OlGeezer
What is the best non-Adobe PDF writer? I've got the free version of CutePDF. I'm looking to upgrade to a "pro" model. I would like to be able to combined PDFs into a single document, redmark PDFs and create a PDF from the scanner (instead of using the scanning software) in order to control the size of the file. Ideas? Thank you. Link to comment
Francois_Dumas
There'll always be discussions on what is 'best' .... I don't know. What I do know is I use this one: http://www.nitropdf.com/index.asp There's a free trial and there is also a limited free version of it. Link to comment
artig
I bought and used NitroPDF some years ago, but found it so slow as to be unusable, and incorrect at rendering some PDF files. They then produced a new version to fix those faults, and charged almost as much to upgrade as a new user license. I gave up. Now I'm using some of the products from Tracker Software. However I have no idea how well they will cover the requirements of the OP. Others I know recommend the Foxit Software products. Link to comment
