Huzband
Friend of mine is considering this one. Scroll down a little to see it. He's wanting some input from folks with experience on this bike. Link to comment
OoPEZoO
hit up Kraynak.....he's got one. Link to comment
UberXY
I rode a 99 R1100S for six years. It was fun but not all that comfortable for long rides. No problems with it ever. Link to comment
rob1100r
I've always wished my R1100R had those power 'numbers'...not to say I feel underpowered.. Link to comment
bakerzdosen
No experience here, but it looks like the listing ended... Could be a moot point now. Link to comment
Huzband
It's ended, but they've been talking on the phone. It's only two hours from here, but my friend's hoping for a bit more info than I can give him before making the drive. Link to comment

Matts_12GS
I had an 03 SBX for about a year. It was a great bike, and I loved the laser exhaust/pcIII set up that were on it. It was a great riding bike, but if your amigo has more than a 32" inseam he may be looking for a peg lowering kit before long. As others said, it was fun to ride, but my legs just couldn't take the bend. I'll tell you about it tonight... Link to comment
rous44
I had an '05, that was a lot cleaner than that one. Had side bags, tank bag, performance exhaust, previously owned by a BMW employee and I payed $5500 for it two years ago. Where is the seat cowl? In my opinion the price is way too high. That said; it's a great bike. Link to comment
BanjoBoy
Haven't ridden a Boxer Cup Rep, but I have this gem for sale. Linkage Lighter, faster, more powerful, more comfortable, more carrying capacity, longer touring range...Did I miss anything? But it's way up in cold rainy Cali. When this ad expires, I'm going to drop the price even further. Link to comment
Huzband
Seems as though my friend isn't that serious about it. He's looking for a garage queen, more of a collector than a rider. BTW, if you're interested, the guy gave him a bottom dollar of $6300 on the phone. If only... Link to comment
BanjoBoy
That would be a great "garage queen." Since they're limited production it should appreciate? (I buy my bikes to ride!) It's good to see somebody's been getting the cylinder down on that bike. My neighbor Brian Parriott was quite successful in that boxer cup series. Link to comment
BFish
that "dealer" is a small shop that has a few moto's out for sale. it appears they deal in cruisers mostly. be curious as to how they came across that bmw. previous owner may have just sold it to them for much needed $$$'s. i've never seen it being ridden around here. I was just searching for the latest info on what he is up to lately. I still have the video on disc of his run at road america for 4 laps. No music, just boxer. I wished they had not had the misfortune of a wreck at Daytona in the endurance deal on the HP2 sport. Brian was handling that one also! http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-795451086899998850&hl=en# Link to comment

Yeah he's actually from St. Helena about 20 mi away. Steve Rapp's from Lafayette about 60 mi. away. James Randolf is from here... A lot of talented racers came from this area. I think it's 'cause we have lots of great roads, and Sears Point/AFM racing. (Or whatever they call it now) I remember when they were up and coming young guns. (I actually bought race take offs from Parriott when he was riding a POS Honda F3 I was just searching for the latest info on what he is up to lately. Glad there was no music, it'd just get in the way, of the boxer music. Link to comment
