jackflash Posted September 24, 2005 Share Posted September 24, 2005 Have an '05. While I'm not a clean freak with it, I do like to spiff up my stuff real nicely now and then. Seems things are very hard to get to behind the tupperware. Anyone have any easy methods of cleaning the cylinder heads, and all that stuff between the tupperware when looking from the front? I've used S100 on the cylinder heads but haven't found any kind of brush that gets the job done well. I don't want to take the tupperware off. My Harley is actually easier to clean than this RT. Go ahead, make fun of my HOG. If it's any saving grace, I ride the RT a LOT more. Thanks for the cleaning tips ahead of time! Link to comment
Satguy Posted September 24, 2005 Share Posted September 24, 2005 I use a cycle cleaner from Spectro and a long bristle brush. Hate to say but the brush was purchased with a label on it that says "toilet brush" While this particular brush has never touched a toilet, it does work good to get the bugs off the cylinders. I don't really worry too much about the part of the cylinder inside the tupperware tho. YMMV Link to comment
