X-Pel Headlight Protector for the 12GS

I've always liked the X-Pel direct apply headlight protector products (www.xpel.com). I think most of the other things out there look too add-on and it's too much of a hassle to clean behind them.

 

Their kit for the R1200GS is finally available. Part # H20603.

 

You can barely tell that it is there:

That's cool, Ken. Is it easy enough on and off to try a before and after to see how (if?) the headlight beam is affected by it?

It's adhesive on and it bonds pretty much on contact. Even when using the water and alcohol mixture they recommend to use to help apply it. So it's really a one shot deal.

 

But I had their product on my RT previously with no detectable difference in lighting with it in place. Even after a couple of years. I anticipate the GS will be no different.

 

They've got it out in tints now too. I thought about yellow tinting my high beam, but didn't in the end.
