AZKomet
Yes, right before the holidays they gotta send gloom and doom our way. Maybe it is just a little "be careful out there" gesture. Turkey Day? Really? Ride safe and enjoy that gobbler! http://finance.yahoo.com/insurance/article/108223/most-dangerous-us-holidays?mod=insurance-autos Link to comment
Lineareagle
Reality is never morbid, it just is. Hopefully family time will not be around a morgue table for many. Link to comment
motoguy128
The combination of high traffic volumes, winter weather and the consumption of alcohol make for dangerous road conditions... and therefore statistically high accident rates. I'm happy not ot be traveling this year. My family lives in Michigan, so going home, requires driving through the greater Chicago area through the I-80 corridor and around hte bottom of lake Michigan which is happy to provide some nice snowy holiday waeather. Althouhg I've made the trip twice on a motorcyle before I was married, on a couple of warmer TG weekends Drive safe everyone! Link to comment
