Uberman62 Posted November 24, 2009 Share Posted November 24, 2009 Greetings all. I recently purchased an '02 R1150 RT with 8000 miles and have since put on another 3000. My question is, ever since I have owned this bike the gear indicator shows "E" when I am in 6th gear. The bike shifts fine but, I thought it would at least say 6 when in overdrive. I thought maybe a light was out but the other numbers show up fine. My local dealer says they would have to run a diagnostic to see what's up. Any ideas? Thanx, Ken Link to comment
T__ Posted November 24, 2009 Share Posted November 24, 2009 Ken, the early 1150RT’s showed an “E” for high gear,, later bikes went to a “6” instead of the “E”.. Your bike is working correctly.. Twisty Link to comment
