bmwin14rsm
I went on a wounderful ride this morning on a road called Ortega Highway in Orange county. It was absolutely beautiful. After I came home I thought I would let the bike sit for about 30 minutes to check the oil level. I would have thought the exhaust was cool, but I can tell you from the burn on my hand it wasn't. I know not to do this. I feel so stupid. I grabed the exhaust when bending down to check the oil. By the way, I did need to add oil. Link to comment
1200Bob
Mike, I guess you could look at this as a good learning experience. You'll never do that again. Link to comment

Ken/OC
The motor may be cool but the oil is not! Have a care with the Ortega, the LA Times has another rider killed there Wednesday... http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la-me-ocbriefs16sep16,1,5226875.story?ctrack=1&cset=true Link to comment
