Rinkydink
Just installed my new Ohlins shock on mt 04 RT. After putting rear caliper back on and torquing it to 40nm I notice it has a little freeplay in it. Not the mounting bolts moving but the caliper itself. I suppose this is normal? Is this the floating I so often hear of? I am always nervous messing with single-sided swingarm wheels and calipers and such. I torqued the rear wheel to 105 nm and everything lines up ducky. Going to be tomorrow b4 I can ride as I'm also installing a new battery so tupperware is off. Thanks Link to comment
Haynes
The caliper moves laterally to allow for pad wear and alignment. All is good. Link to comment
