02 R1150RT Final Drive Problem

I guess I should let people know what bike I'm having the problem with.This is the second problem I've had with the rear drive on my 02 R1150RT. Are other people having this problem? My brothers GS lost the final drive at 12,000 miles. The dealer in Utah replaced the whole unit under warranty, as we were on a road trip. Maybe I should keep a spare unit on hand. Good thing I kept the old Shovelhead, at least I can still ride while the Beemer is down.
