Bud Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 I know it was posted somewhere but unable to find it. The R 1200 RT front wheel needs a special tool to remove the front wheel and somewhere I saw someone post something about using a spark plug wrench that fit. Am I just making this up? Can someone help an old man with a poor memory?
Fightingpiper Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Your memory fine..I shoudl know, I run a Memory Care assisted living.. I got mine at sears. Flip a spark plug wrench around and put a socket extension through backwards and your all set. You will have to remove the little rubber piece from inside the socket.
David13 Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 I have a lot of spark plug wrenches. This is what I use on front axles. http://www.cyclegear.com/spgm.cfm?L1=&L2=&L3=&L4=&item=MRX_TOOL dc
Bud Posted May 8, 2009 Author Posted May 8, 2009 Thanks for the info. I will also pick up a new memory at Sears while I am there.
Albert Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Probably not your search skills but your typing. If you "seach" for a "weel" "tule", who knows what you'll find. Ducking.
