Quinn Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 It must be nice to afford a driver for the six months that your license is suspended. Wonder what other people do?
Dave McReynolds Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 "I accept the decision of the court. I recognize that speeding is not acceptable and regret what I did," said Riall. My speeding was excessive and I have made a full apology to the court." What is this baloney? I'm sure he doesn't recognize that speeding is not acceptable and doesn't regret what he did. He probably knew he would be nabbed, since his company put in the speed cameras. Is this one of those weird sorts of compulsions, like putting your (whatever) in the pickle slicer, or your tongue on the frozen water pipe? I suppose after you do that, and your (whatever) has been sliced off, or your tongue is frozen to the pipe, you probaby do have regrets, and perhaps wonder what could have led you to do such a thing.

Ah but, the title of this thread is inaccurate and misleading. He was not caught on a camera, he was caught by a patrol car. A marked patrol car. A marked patrol car that he had not seen. Speeding and not paying attention.... Andy
lawnchairboy Posted May 7, 2009 Author Posted May 7, 2009 you are correct sir, apologies. I just hate the idea of these D@#% cameras I jumped the gun...
