OoPEZoO Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 when you do something stupid on a motorcycle. LINK This story reminded me of an incident a few years ago when some ass tried to run me off the road. I didn't understand why at the time. He had been driving agressively, but I had gone out of my way to stay away from him. Little did I know (until later) that Danielle had flicked the guy off from the pillion seat. She learned a valueable lesson that day about what can happen, and how I feel about her actions while on the back of my bike. Don't initiate, don't retaliate, and just don't be stupid.........it hurts
Dave in Doodah Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 Agreed, Keith! I learned that lesson within a year of riding and never gesture to other drivers anymore. You never know what physical/mental state you are dealing with and, I am betting, you are not telling them anthing they don't already know. A-holes seem to be proud of themselves.
knight88 Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 When I ride my bike I tend to become way more forgiving and also take more BS from people...it's my survival instinct kicking in

tallman Posted May 1, 2009 Posted May 1, 2009 Always arm your passenger. They may need it. Best wishes.
BailyD Posted May 1, 2009 Posted May 1, 2009 Last week a gentleman was tailgating me on the local highway I patrol. I took the high road and moved over to the slow lane and let him pass. . . . . . . then promptly pulled in behind him, stopped him and gave him a 5 point tailgating ticket in a "safe corridor" aka: double the fines! these kinds of guys are in the grab bag. when I go to work tomorrow, I'll write a few for you guys!
Pennys Dad Posted May 2, 2009 Posted May 2, 2009 Ooohhh I have been tempted soo many times but I figure that no matter what any 1 car is .5 seconds away from being passed at my pace, on my time, when I feel like it so they are just part of nothing.
