Home at 7:30pm Saturday.

Was nice seeing some of the yahoo's again. They know who they are. Heavily missed Tom though. He would have enjoyed the Jeep tour although I think he would have took a lot more pictures than I.

Thanks for the hospitality. Apologies for sneaking out of camp without saying good-bye. Realized half way home I forgot you.

The ecology JEEP tour was great, I'll post up pictures as soon as I finish cleaning the JEEP. Jeff sure has a nice TJ.

Until later.....

Marco, Here's a picture of the two Jeeps. It was good to meet you. I live right above Cleghorn trail. Drop me a PM sometime and we can go do it. It is a good run. Gregg

Home safe at 1400. Made it through the maze of traffic cameras in Phoenix with no "flashes". Great time, great friends and great riding. Thanks to Phil and Jammie for an excellent dinner on Saturday night. Can't wait to read the tale on Phil's "51st yard"!!! :rofl:

I took a lot of teasing because my RT never came off the trailer! I rode in Jeff's Jeep as I wanted to see the back country.

What a great day for a Jeep ride. Hard to believe in a few months it will be 100* plus out here. The beginning of the Ecology Tour Road:

It was an awesome day. Thanks go out to Phil and 'the hot one' for making this happen. Will there be a 2nd annual? Hope so.

Hey Tom, I missed you. I promised to pay you the $20 I owe you for the Roosevelt campsite but you didn't show so I just bought another bottle of wine. :wave:

In after sneaking out at 7:30am...

Thanks to all for making my stay great.

Jamie and Phil did dinner that was excellent. (First cabin those two).

And the booze was great, Jan's the Scotch man.

Good seeing familiar faces, and new one's as well. Some faces were missed tho... :(

Did minimal slab time home. Took smaller roads I haven't been on in years.

CA25 is a stunner.

Point of info:

When the nice man at the campground with the Michelin Map says don't take the dirt road listen to him..(Parkfield grade)..Sorry I didn't listen,and now my bike is dirty. :dopeslap:

Too many Laughlin tanks on the road, I had to weave my way thru 'em. :mad:

We'll do it again. :thumbsup:

My day didn't end too well, as reported here. I truly enjoyed my brief overnighter in JT plus sharing campfire and yummy BBP chicken dinner with the gang. Thanks Phil and Jamie for organizing!

I'm hangin' in Mesquite tonight at the Eureka. Tomorrow Kolob Canyons and home. Jeff, sorry to hear of your misfortune. We too know that feeling of violation. Very unsettling, but it passes.

On to other matters, despite reading of Jeff's misfortune, I'm still chortling over John's latest typo. I'm wondering how "Jammie" is gonna like her new name? :clap::wave::lurk:

Now, well past time for a shower....

We're home!! :clap::clap:

What a trip!!! Ride Tale to follow.

Got up this morning, had a great breakfast, and then went on a fantastic hike for an hour or so. After that, Jamie and I got on the road to home. We came home via 247, 58, 395, 50. We stopped at Manzanar along the way for a little history lesson. Dinner in Bishop and then pressed on to home.

Thanks to all. Jamie and I had a blast. We miss you already . . . even ALL the fire starter and cook suggestionists. :rofl::rofl:

And there I was . . . on a trail . . . as I passed the 50 yard line! :dopeslap::rofl: It's a simple rule! Ride or look at the scenery - pick ONE!

Some of us are good fire starters and some are good put'r out'rs!

Thanks you two for all your work. Did everyone pay their share for dinner or do we need to roast them here?
