Steve1962 Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 ........Been out for a short ride this morning , as I'll be busy this afternoon taking the youngest to play soccer . Off to get some fuel first , then into Hailey village , just a couple of miles north of Witney , to check out the church . Built in the 1860's to replace the previous place of worship that fell into repair in the 17th century , it's a very nice little village church .... Out in the grounds , I soptted this bird , it just sat and didn't move ... I thought it may be injured , but as I gently approached , it took off . A couple from inside ........ On the bike again , and out onto another great little country road ...... Lovely views across the countryside .... Finally , the reason why this post is called Chops , because in our household that is what we affectionately call these little fellas ....... SWB Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Sweet pix, Steve. Keep 'em coming. Until I can get the time and the money (I usually have one or the other, but not both ) to take my European tour via BMW, I have to live vicariously and tour through the generosity of folks like you. I intend to start adding my own pix of some rides out here in California - USA soon, to reciprocate the favor. Scott
Slyder_Steve Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Steve, I won't be having chops today, but I will raise a Hobgoblin in your honor Brewed near Witney... Great photos! Brings back many fond memories from our time at RAF Lyneham. Slyder
