HERE's a view of some of their fleet.

 

I read that they primarily use video equipment and then grab images from the video instead of taking individual shots. I guess in the digital world that's really pretty much semantics.

I have a longstanding dream of finding the itinerary of one of those cars on the road and getting a group of cyclists to swarm it for a few miles so that the street view makes it look like some kind of bicycling nirvana. Would be a fun project.
