Bruce H
I would like to bleed the brakes on my 07 GSA. I don't beleive this bikes has servos like the instructions on Jim's video. Is this brake bleed straight thru where I don't have to take the tank off just fill the resivor and bleed at the wheel cylinders? I did the oil and filter yeaterday (using a BMW filter, pun intended) how do I reset the oil light? Link to comment
johnlt
It depends if it is ABS or not. My 06 GSA is not ABS and it is a simple matter to change fluid and bleed them. Link to comment

Mr_Ed
It depends if it is ABS or not. My 06 GSA is not ABS and it is a simple matter to change fluid and bleed them. I thought the key point was if it was Servo or not (versus ABS).. I've yet to flush my own but I was told by my local shop that since I didn't have Servo on my 07 GSA that bleeding the brakes is cake. Just one circuit for the front and another for the back. Bruce H
I flushed one circut for the front and one for the rear today however the anual check sheet I have says to check the ABS wheel circut and a control circut. I don't think this bike has that but want to confirm. I have an 03RT with servos and have done those but this one is different. I bought Jim's video but his bike has servos. Someone out there will know for sure. does anyone have a link to a maintenance schedule for the 12K, 24K and so on service? I have only the anual service sheet. Link to comment
marcopolo
does anyone have a link to a maintenance schedule for the 12K, 24K and so on service? I have only the anual service sheet. Try A&S BMW, or BMW Canada. The maintenance schedules are available there as PDF files. Bear in mind that some changes made via tech service bulletins may not be reflected in these versions. http://www.bmw-motorrad.ca/En/ http://www.ascycles.com/bmw_motorcycle_service_and_maintenance_schedules.aspx Link to comment
