Rt4Me
Need help finding the Mcmaster carr part numbers for the fuel filter line clamps and the vent hoses. Will be replacing fuel filters at my tech day and want to have them on hand. I know there are 2 sizes and someone has posted the mcmaster carr part numbers but I cannot find them. Thanks in advance. Londoncallin
If you want to replace the vent line ones with FI S/S screw type clamps the only ones I found that would fit were from McMaster-Carr, part# 53175 K23, if you replace the fuel filter the clamps are larger, part# 53175 K27. tomk99r11
Many here use the standard worm screw type clamp. I bought stainless FI clamps to fit 5/8 in. FI hose, at NAPA for 69 cents each. Nothing magical about McM clamps. FWIW. Link to comment

SS ones are recommended for In-tank applications, but not absolutely necessary. Jim Link to comment
Clive Liddell
You could get the real mccoy from your friendly dealer for around ~$1 (not sure of my conversion) Link to comment

I have been running screw type clamps for 31.5K. Last filter I replaced, the hoses looked just dandy. In fact they were stuck in place so i know they haven't been sliding under pressure. Nothing against FI clamps, but I don't see the need for them or the time spent on ordering when there are readily available and viable alternatives. To each his own. I'll eat my words if I ever end up stranded somewhere. Till then...fooeey Link to comment
