Leaking Fork Seals - 12GS

Gentlemen:

 

At my 600 mi service, the dealer replaced the fork seals. While the forks weren't spewing oil, they left enough oil on the stanchions that they felt oily and accumulated enough oil to leave a "ring." Unlike my non-telever bike...whose stanchions were always dry. After 2400 miles of strictly road riding, the stanchions are damp again.

 

Has anyone had similar problems? What did it take to resolve the leaking seals, e.g., replace stanchions? Perhaps, they are out of round?
