You can't believe how quickly I jumped at the chance to take this ride even though it busted my budget into smithereens. When all is said and done, it's still "the ride" not the sights (for me anyway). Greatest thing down there is the lack of traffic outside the cities - a few trucks, maybe one in an hour, and about the same number of cars. Having no cages sure adds to the ride. Link to comment

A few years ago a window suddenly opened to do the 4 Corners in 21 days ride. I was on the road about 24 hours after the time became available. My goal is to ride from my place here in So Cal down to Mexico, thru Central America, into Costa Rica. Love CR even though I had some fairly serious problems there... So, I am working, sort of, on my Spanish, and thinking about buying a used KLR or older GS-whatever the budget can stand... Cheers, Steve in So Cal Link to comment
