RichEdwards
This is West Ozello Trail done at a slightly faster speed than I usually do it. Peck's Olde Port Cove Restaurant, where our Tampa club has its Chrismas party, is at the end of this road. There's never any snow at that party. West Ozello Trail Ride Link to comment

drzep
The speed that the video plays at makes the bike sound like one of those slot cars that we used to race as kids at the local hobby shop! Link to comment

keithb
OK so there is ONE twisty in the state of Florida. Big deal. Could ya speed it up a little? Link to comment
Green RT
Did anybody else have any concerns about the speed the rider in that clip is traveling at? Assuming the digital readout to the left of the tachometer is reading velocity in mph, it looked to me like he was frequently hitting over 100 mph on stretches of road with side roads and traffic parked off the road. What would happen if someone pulled out of one of those spots. At one point he passes a truck that is passing a stopped car. Looked crazy to me. Link to comment

NoHeat
Very nice ride, although I think I'm feeling dizzy, after watching that speeded-up film. I got a good laugh at the guy seemingly running into the restaurant at the end. Question: are there deer in those woods that you ride through? Link to comment
RichEdwards
I agree that he was going far too fast on that stretch of road. Not only are there stores along part of the road, there are canals and bays bordering much of the road. A miscalculation would not mean sliding into the woods or grass, it would mean ending up in ten feet of water. Also, since this is Florida and near the beach, there is always a good chance of hitting sand on the road. Link to comment
Slyder_Steve
Dang...the guy finds the only friggin road in Florida that's not straight...goes a "tad" over the posted speed limit...and gets flamed on our board...I get excited about the turn into my driveway Link to comment
keithb
Hi Steve You obviously did not read my post. Could ya speed it up a little? Link to comment
NoHeat
I agree that he was going far too fast on that stretch of road. Road? It wasn't the road that impressed me. It was the restaurant at the end. In particular I was concerned about the dude running into the restaurant way too fast. And he had no gear at all. Don't you think he could have tripped and fallen on his face and really hurt himself? ;-) Link to comment
