KMG_365
I just got a new MacBook Pro running Leopard (Mac OS 10.5.x) and also bought a program called Parallels . . . and I have to say I'm pretty impressed! I originally got it to run an ArcGIS piece of software that is not (yet) available for Mac, but I've since also been able to (finally) update my Garmin GPS map sets and even load pictures into Leslie's new HP Digital Picture Frame (which refuses to make available USB drivers for a Mac). I simply opened a "Windoze" window on my Mac as well as a thumb drive window of pics and could "select all" and drag and copy into the digital picture frame as if it were another drive attached to my Mac. Sweeeet! Link to comment
Tank
Cool Jamie. In the world of " Someday ".. Maybe " Someday " is getting closer to earth. Its good to hear that the barriers between PC and Mac are tumbleing Link to comment

HappyMan
I've got both a Mac Book and a Mac Book Pro and they are incredible computers. Paralells 4.0 is a HUGE improvement. I don't make these statements as a Macoid either. I own at least 20 PC's running XP Pro and have no complaints. Most IBM. Very solid. However, my Macs blow them all out of the water and for the first time since I started my company with a Mac II Ci......I'm finally able to use Macs again for business. I'm not there 100% as far as Macs being able to do all my work but it's getting very close. I still travel with two IBM laptops and one Mac Book for all of my jobs. Soon, I should be able to eliminate at least one of those IBMs as Paralells made a giant leap toward hardware integration with 4.0. I also run Boot Camp for the one program(analyzation for the theatrical work I do that you are familiar with Jamie) I can only run on XP and it runs XP better and quicker than my PCs. Again, I'm not harping on my PCs as I am very happy but my Macs have been overall better machines. Have fun Jamie! Link to comment

Jake
Peanut found a new Mac Book under the tree this year, and while we're just casual users compared to you guys, we're instant converts. Everything is easier, faster, and more fun! We're even skinnier, wealthier, and better looking since we got it! Humble too! Link to comment

I'm gonna need to buy a few more Macs before they'll make me skinnier and better looking! The nice thing about a Mac is they are so simple to use but on the flip side they are also dumbed down to a point that can be a real pain in the butt if you know your way around the computer. O.S.X changed a lot of that though. Link to comment
