Alrighty!

A beautiful December day in Florida!

Let me just give you alittle background....

Bullman is the RAT Pack Leader of the Florida RATS (Rider Association of Triumph). He took over the helm aftter I started the Suncoast RAT Pack with Motorcycle Enthusiasts, but after a year, I couldn't do RAT and DDS!) Dan's been getting road riders together for a while now in Tampa Bay.

He also crosses over with the Tampa Bay BMW Riders and the BMW folks ride with the RAT folks... courtesy of Euro Cycles in Odessa (Triumph, BMW, Ducati, Guzzi)...

I also must add that folks from these two groups have participated in the DDS Backpack Ride this past July!

DDS folks were me, Rick Hartman (rick68) V-Strom, and Glenn Lura and his wife on their FJR1300...

And the BMW/RAT Folks...

Okay, now that that's outa the way...

So we start, here in beautiful downtown New Port Richey, where, coincidently, I happen to live! So this was a convinient way to do a little good for a local family and ride with some good folks as well!

As you can see it was a sea of "cruiser" folks...

What attracts "cruiser" folks to dirt bikes?

02.jpg

Beauftiful shot of a couple of bikes.

HEY! They're mine!

Bullman sold his bike ('03 Tiger, in.... Roulette Green!) and is between rides. Someone was gonna set him up on a Sumo, but the guy never showed, so being a former RAT Pack Leader, and that the Triple needed to get ridden, I let him ride the Roulette Green Triple for the day...

The typical "cruiser" starting stuff. Everyone rides in a bunch. Not my cup of tea...

Took the Aripeka Road up to the Upper Deck restaurant (formerly Otters) on the Weeki Wachi river...

Some of the BMW/RAT folk!

Vicki, Dennis, Ron, Don and BULLman

Bullman (L), DDSers Glenn and Laurie Lura...

This wasn't part of the ride, but a sweet machine!

Speaking of SWEET machines....

Hey. I took the pictures. What did ya expect! Ya really think I was gonna take pictures of "cruisers"?

11.jpg

Anyway...we all decided that the "cruiser" thing wasn't our scene and took off on our own adventure on a great Florida Day....
