11101110 Posted November 25, 2008 Share Posted November 25, 2008 Well if the kick stand is up you could try it in Neutral. If it starts in N then you probably have a bad kickstand switch. But on my 02 the engine will crank with the kickstand down and clutch open, just won't start. Won't even crank with the clutch closed. Not sure if you have to open the clutch to strat it in N though. The three position kill switch is in the middle position right? Link to comment

What do I do please, help Guy Is the kill switch on the right hand switch cluster turned and disabling the engine. When you push the starter button, does the engine rotate or not? Andy.
