Weaver
I'd like to ride for 10-12 days out and back from Seattle starting 12/23 mas o menos and tentativly going at a quicker pace to Tuscon and slower from there to Nogales, Guaymos, ferry across to Baja and north up the coast. Weaver
Spell check -that's Tucson and Guaymas - I'll reconfigure this plan for less time on the road. My goal is to drive the Pacific Coast north from southern Cali. So head down inland via Oregon (Steens) Tahoe, Vegas and/or thereabouts as the weather and dry roads will allow. Head south quickly and then ride north at an enjoyable pace from southern California, Baja still being an option. Camp, cheap hotels.. Link to comment

Dances_With_Wiener_Dogs
Look into this book by Clement Salvadori. And this book by Neil Davis. This book looks pretty good. You should familiarize yourself with Horizons Unlimited. You may also want to buy some out of country medical insurance, the kind that will fly you back to a stateside hospital should you need it. Finally, consider learning some conversational Spanish. Seattle Central Community College Seattle Language Academy Edit: You also need to have a clear title to your bike to enter Mexico. Clear and the original title. I understand that photocopies are not accepted, although you should have a few copied hidden somewhere. Link to comment
