RoSPA_man
Hi I tried the Search to find the procedure for turning off lights on the RT- can anyone remind me what it is please - some combo of Indicator cancel switch for 5 seconds etc? Link to comment
T__
First off- Key on (or engine running) with lights on lo beam.. Then_ hold the turn signal (cancel) button in for 4-5 seconds.. Then_ hold the (right turn signal button) in for 4-5 secs.. The headlamp should then go out until either a new ignition cycle or the high beams are used.. Twisty Link to comment
Mudman
Also during this procedure the bike must be stopped. Link to comment
Huzband
That's really cool. Now I don't have to unplug them for Jennings next week. Yeah, they'll be taped over, but I don't like the heat on the back of the tape. Link to comment

TestPilot
Also during this procedure the bike must be stopped. Funny, on my 2007 ST I can do this while in motion. Link to comment
Mudman
Interesting. On my 2006 RT and on 2005 GS models the rear wheel must be stationary. I believe this is designed this way to avoid inadvertent turning off of the headlights while riding. I presume your speedo and ABS are working correctly? Link to comment
IndianaHarvey
Tried this on my 05 RT and the headlights remain on. Link to comment

Unfortunately my bike is now in winter storage so I can't double check my previous post. Link to comment
