One thing, the new RT did comsume about a quart of oil over the entire journey, presume that is about normal for a new BMW -- yes? Link to comment

It was for my RT which now has 6300 miles. Oil consumption now much lower, but I don't have specifics. I just know it is a lot less now. Link to comment
Rob Posted July 26, 2005 Share Posted July 26, 2005 My ride to Lima was a bit less than yours, only 1500 total miles. My RT now has a little over 6600 miles and did not use a drop of oil on the trip. I never even took the quart out of the zip lock bag. HTH, Link to comment
