Is anyone running barbacks on an RT and using the BMW GPS mount that goes between the bars? I haven't tried to install them but it looks like the bars get set up, back, and a little wider which is going to make the mount un-usable. Link to comment
KER Posted July 21, 2005 Share Posted July 21, 2005 I am using barbacks and a RAM mount for my quest on my 1150RT and have no problems. I used the screw that came with the mount and everythng works great. Link to comment
TampaJim Posted July 21, 2005 Share Posted July 21, 2005 I have barbacks and used a RAM base kit that consisted of a ball on a little bar and a long replacement bolt that replaced one of the handlebar mounting bolts. Used a 3" RAM arm to clear tankbag. Have full view of dash. Link to comment
