DPWiegs Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 For those of you with back-rests integrated into your aftermarket seat (Russell Day Long, etc)... could you comment on its utility? Do you leave it in all the time? Only on long trips? I'm interested if folks felt it was a worthwhile option in hindsight. Thanks to all, Dave
dshogman Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 Have a RIck Meyer seat with the Bak-Up back rest installed. Rick coverd it with the same black leather and red thread as the seat itself. With lower back issues, it really is a lifesaver - I have it set so I'm pushed forward a bit, towards the Master Yoda position.
CruisinCruzan Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 Also have a RM seat and Bakup backrest. I leave it in all the time, have adjusted my mounting and dismounting but the benefits far outweigh that small inconvenience.
