bojohnson Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 While on a 16-day trip from Nashville to Nova Scotia the headlights on my 1200RT started working sporadically. I had a BMW dealer POI file on the Zumo and saw that Cliff's Cycle Revolution in Brookfield, Connecticut, was the closest place to have it checked out. What a great dealership. They took me right in. Turned out that my Kisan modulator had shorted out. It was a simple, quick fix. While I was waiting, Bob, the general manager, spent 20 minutes with me in his office going over maps and making ride recommendations. He really knows the area well. The rides he suggested were great. They returned the bike to me in a few minutes, no charge! If I lived near Brookfield I would definitely give them my business.
CT_Rider Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 Yep, nice folks. Glad to hear you enjoyed our state.
johnnash Posted July 20, 2008 Posted July 20, 2008 What did you think of Nova Scotia? How was the weather? I grew up there, all my family still lives there! Hope you had a nice visit.
bojohnson Posted July 20, 2008 Author Posted July 20, 2008 Nova Scotia was great. The Cabot Trail was the highlight but we enjoyed the riding everywhere. The people were also very hospitable. The weather was generally good. It was unseasonably hot the first few days but it cooled off.
