Sirius Tuner Recommendation

I love my Sirius service, but I'm having issues with my Stratus 3 tuner jiggling (that's a technical term) up and losing contact with the antenna every couple of miles. My dock does not provide a locking mechanism and the guys at TSS.com say there is no such feature for this model or replacement dock that will do that. So...

-Is there an easy fix (tiny bungee cords not an option) or

-replacement dock w/lock, or if none of the above,

-what Sirius plug-n-play tuner would you recommend to avoid the above?

Many thanks!

Had the same problem, used a rubber band around the unit to hold the plug still. Not an eloquent fix but it works.

I use one of these old suckers. Sirius One

I have it duel locked up on my RCU shelf. It has big dumb buttons and a display that is useless in the daylight, but its somewhat robust and cheap as hell. I don't even cover it when riding through heavy rain. I would say mine has been on the bike for almost 2 1/2 years and 30k miles. It takes a beating, but hasn't let me down yet

another vote for the Sirius one.

I paid $1 plus shipping for mine on ebay. very easy to use with gloves on.

That is actually what I did as well. I bought 3 of them. I did that because the ones I bought came with mounting kits, power wires, and antennas. It was cheaper than buying the extra power wires and antennas seperately. I used one set for the bike, one set for the car, and one set in my truck. I use one reciever that I swap back and forth between the vehicles, keep one on the shelf as a spare, and gave the third one away to a friend.
