TowJam
With my KRS, I regulary used an air pump powered via the accessory socket. With the 1200 RT/ST's CAN system, does the engine need to be running so as not to shut down the accessory socket? Or at the very least, will the ignition need to be switched on? thanks in advance Link to comment
John Bentall
Ignition needs to be switched on to avoid shutting down the accessory socket. Link to comment
Ken H.
Can't swear to it, but I believe that as long as something is drawing on the socket it will stay open/live. Heck, why don't you go try it now and report back in 1/2 hour? Link to comment
Timmer
On my ST, with power being drawn, and the switch off, the socket power is turned off in about 20-30 seconds. Link to comment
TowJam
Heck, why don't you go try it now and report back in 1/2 hour? Because my ST won't be here for another 2 weeks. I'm just doing some proactive fact finding. Link to comment
