RJH Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 Looking at the Nolan 102 bluetooth, any good or bad input.
Selden Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 Helmets are like shoes; if a helmet doesn't fit, it's not a good helmet -- for you. I'm on my 4th Nolan N100 in 10 years (#3 was damaged in a deer collision). I like the steel on steel latching mechanism, and I really like the seat-belt style latch for the strap. I didn't like the sliding sunshield on my 3rd Nolan, partly because of the difference in color between top and bottom, but mostly because, over time, the lower edge of the sun shield started to grind a fine line across the clear face shield. Ventilation is reasonable (oddly better with the chin dam in place), and the face shield is easily removable without tools.
Marek Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 I had the same question and got a lot of responses see here Mark
outpost22 Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 My N102 is not blue tooth, just a regular 102. It is well made and comfortable. The biggest drawback is that it is heavy. I wear it on the RT as I am protected from wind blast, but use a HJC carbon fiber helmet on the GS. Too much wind resistance on the 102 for that bike.It makes my neck sore.
