Is it possible to have this software show mountain passes with elevations? I have tried every button and drop down menu that I can find and have had no luck.

Is it possible to have this software show mountain passes with elevations? I have tried every button and drop down menu that I can find and have had no luck.

A lot of mountains have their elevations listed in MSS&T. A lot of passes are named, but the elevations aren't shown, so I'm guessing that data is not part of the program. It should still be a simple matter to Google the pass name to find the elevation. For example, Googling "Independence Pass" shows a height of 12,095 feet.

 

You might consider buying contour map data for your GPS; that would certainly include pass elevations.
