philbytx Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Ok...So I am out now Seriously folks....I just love my R1100R! Went out with my group this morning and was having a great ride and we stopped at the Rio Frio Bike Stop for some liquids. We were having such a blast but only two of us wanted to keep riding (it's in the 90s here!) so 8 headed home and Brother John and I (he has a Suzuki TL1000) decided to finish off our Hill Country ride on the second stage of FM337 and then FM335, followed by a high speed blast back home on Highway 41. Thankfully, I had my cooling vest in one of the side bags! Well, if I had a chicken strip on my rear Conti Road Attack, it certainly ain't there any more Leroy is more fun than a box of frogs and the Conti Road Attacks are a great tyre and work really well with the bike. I run them at 36F 39R and they roll into a turn quickly and smoothly and stick like the proverbial "crap to a blanket". They communicate very well, especially with the chip and seal roads around here and after I got used to the feedback from them, find they are a very confidence inspiring tyre. Did 204 demanding miles today using 5 gallons of gas. Man! It surely doesn't get any better than this I tell you - God Bless Texas
