We are once again pleased to bring you the second hosting of the Blue Ridge Rendezvous. Due to popular demand from our spring event we have decided to give this yet another try. We had some pretty positive feedback (as well as some things to work on) after our last BRR that has lead us to this point.

Standard Two double beds is $79.30/night plus tax.

One night’s deposit required for a reservation – refundable in full up to 7 days prior to event. There is also a $10 dollar non-refundable processing fee for every reservation made. Make sure you specify if you will be arriving Thursday or Friday night. You are responsible for making your own reservations.

 

Meals:

 

Breakfasts: There were some pretty valid issues with last spring’s complimentary breakfast at the hotel. They have agreed to step their game up a notch in order to help us out. We will try and have more details about that, as we get closer to the fall event.

 

Saturday Group Dinner: We will have the same group meal Saturday evening at the Maggie Valley Inn that will be Buffet style at $20/head. We had rave reviews on this meal and we not planning to change a thing about it. As we did last spring, we will again be paying ahead of time with Pay-Pal for the dinners this fall.

 

Beverages: There is a lounge in the hotel that will of course have libations available. The infamous Tiki hut will also be open until about 10 PM. Last spring this worked out very well for us.

 

The Friday evening cookout: As always, we are looking for volunteers to help with this aspect of the event. Traditionally what occurs is a sale of brat’s at a reasonable price with any profits going to the BMWST.com general fund. We normally set up grills and do it up right. Let us know if you are willing to help out with this. We would really like to keep this going.

 

Matt and Dianne Sturgis are in charge of this facet of the event. Last spring he and Dianne went over and above the cause to put together one heck of a spread. This year we may scale it back a bit in. Matt and Dianne were looking a bit tired after all that prep work and this setup was originally supposed to be a simple alternative to getting back on the bikes and finding food. Expect to see something closer to the original cookout’s held at past El Paeso’s.

 

There are fantastic roads in every direction. Looking forward to a great time!
