It was the age of riding and tech wisdom, it was the age of sharing in a LOT of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief that people are wonderful, it was the epoch of incredulity that there could be any prettier roads anywhere, it was the season of Light filtering through the trees on twisty mountain roads, it was the season of Darkness gathering us together in the cool of the evenings to swap lies of the day's misadventures, it was the spring of hope that that rear tire will have enough tread to get us home, it was the winter of despair that BMW put that accursed EWS thing on all their new bikes, we had everything mapped out before us, we had nothing planned before us, we were all going direct to motorcycling heaven, we were all going direct the other way - back home - in short, this Un was so far like the best of Un's, that I (one of its noisiest fans) insist on its being received, in the superlative degree of comparison only. (with sincere apologies to Charles Dikkens, the well-known Dutch author, Darles Chickens, Marles Pickens, and Farles Wickens! ) Link to comment
