Shadow Rider Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 I have reoccuring ABS errors and the flashing lights are an anoyance. Since I don't plan to spend the money to repair the ABS I would appreciate any suggestions on how BEST to disable the flashing lights without causing any other problems in the process.
DavidEBSmith Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 Black electrical tape. What is the recurring error, by the way? Never mind, I found the other thread.
notacop Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 The 3 wire plug under the seat, ground the middle wire and hit the ABS switch. Should reset it. I found that by playing with the sensor spacers and being sure that there was not any crud or bits of dirt on the sensors that it would reset. Lots o luck...
Bob_Minor Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 Take out the bulbs. Abd then if you're sure you don't want to fix it (like if the brain or pump is dead), take out the whole system and put on some steel braided lines.
