kingpinofdisks
Probably already been done before, but I am a lousy searcher (and I am in IT - ain't that funny?). What are the best, most-est bomb-ass super duper spark plugs (upper and lower) for my twinspark 04 1150rt? Is it the fancy iridium ones? Or the BMW stock plugs? Or some 4-prong $20 psycho plug? Just curious - mine are due in 2 months or so, and apparently my driving habits are a bit bad on the bike - I gotta stop lugging the engine. So anything that helps burn the gas in the chamber is probably good. Link to comment
David_Charlton
Hi Chris,Iv'e been using Iridium IK22 for thousands of K's now in my '03 RT with excellent results, smooth no surge etc but I attribute that mainly to keeping the bike away from dealers and making sure it's kept in tune, go for it, safe riding David Link to comment
PeterD
I just updated a thread from last summer, giving my results with Denso plugs on my 04 RT. In my first post in that thread I gave the Denso Iridium plug part numbers. I got them from an online source, something like sparkplugs.com, I forget the exact name. Link to comment
kingpinofdisks
Ok, I will go for the Denso IK22 - is that top and bottom, or is there a different plug for the bottom? Link to comment

Right now I have: BKR7EKC TOP DCPR7EIX BOTTOM Is this correct? The NGK IRIDIUM replacements are.. Primary> BKR7EIX (NGK part#2667) Secondary> DCPR8EIX (OE heat range as installed on my 04Roadster) but I use DCPR7EIX (NGK part #6046), same heat range as Primary. You can special order these at any AdvanceAuto and get them in 2days...$6.96 each. Link to comment
