Ride-a-lot Posted February 28, 2008 Share Posted February 28, 2008 Absolutely ! Its called a F650CS. The belt on my CS it great. I have 33k miles on it and I have never had to adjust it. And I have never had to clean chain lube off of my rim. The only down side to the belt is that they can be damaged by rocks getting inbetween the belt and sprocket. So they don't work for off road riding. As far as converting your GS I am sure it would take a bucket full of cash to convert it. If you really want a belt it would be far less trouble to just get a CS. Link to comment

It would also destroy the re-sale value of the bike. Who would risk buying it and take the risk that is would be reliable or the back wheel would not fall off at highway speeds. Link to comment
