sck166
Just wanted to pass on a quick way to refinish side cases. I gave mine a light sanding to remove some minor scuffs and scratches. I masked off the roundels and reflectors and then used Krylon Fusion Satin Black spray paint. It supposedly bonds to plastic. I gave the cases about 3 or 4 light coats and they look like new. All told, I spent about an hour and a half from start to finish. I'll let everyone know how this paint holds up. Link to comment
Trinity
Yet another workable option is the black, rattle can bed liner sold at Wally World. My bike's prior owner did it to the side cases and the resulting textured surface looks quite nice! The added bonus is that any small scrapes or scratches can be invisibly repaired in a couple of minutes. Link to comment
Newstar
May I offer another suggestion? Lines - the truck bed liner stuff. I had my bags sprayed and they are 100% more durable and look great. Link to comment
NonComp
I used DupliColor black OEM trim paint. It worked out great. I only did the lids, but it matches perfectly. Link to comment
