Wyn Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 A few months back someone posted a link to a company where you can send them your jacket/pant liner and they wire them for heat. Anyone still have that? Thanks
dwillie Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 Gerbings does that. If you call them and are told they don't, hang-up and call again and attempt to get another sales person. Some of the sales people surprisingly are not well informed. dwillie.
Troy Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 Not sure where I picked up this link, it may be the one you're looking for. Here

Troy Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 If you order from them let us know what you think. I've been knocking around the idea of heating the liner of my Tourmaster jacket. There have been a few mornings where I've needed to wear extra layers and I don't care for the bulk.
Wyn Posted February 14, 2008 Author Posted February 14, 2008 I'm pretty sure someone here posted that they had done it. Seems like this search engine gives you everything your not looking for??? For my TM Transition jacket I was quoted $150.00 with "thermostat" and cord included. Pretty darn good considering vest with on/off switch are going for about the same. I'll have it done sometime soon, I hope. Probably just in time for warm/hot weather here.
