keithb Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 A friend was telling me about Gerbings heated glove liners. I did not even know Gerbings made such a product. Is anyone out there using this product and if so please provide me some feedback. I like the fact that I could use them with existing gloves.
Mr_Ed Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 I think those who have them are happy enough with them. I seem to remember that you just need to wear the next size up glove since the liners do take up some space.
dan_forker Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 My father in law and I both use the Gerbings glove liners and love them. We both had the original Gerbings heated gloves(before the G3) and thought they were too bulky to wear comfortably. The glove liners are comfortable and save carrying multiple pairs of heavier gloves. Neither of us went to a size larger glove to wear over the liners. I think it is a matter of getting used to the tighter fit of the winter gloves with the liners in place but we both will wear medium to lighter winter gloves and add the liners when it gets colder. I much prefer the heated gloves to heated grips and never use them. The heated seat is another thing but the heated grips just can't measure up to heated gloves. Dan Forker
OlGeezer Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 A friend was telling me about Gerbings heated glove liners. I did not even know Gerbings made such a product. Is anyone out there using this product and if so please provide me some feedback. I like the fact that I could use them with existing gloves. I thought they were EXTREMELY painful. First, Gerbing told me that I had the "old design". I said "fine, trade for the new design?" They said "sure" and sent them to me. The "new design" was a bit more comfortable, but I still couldn't wait until I stopped and took them off. It was the wires putting pressure on parts of my hands. I now have the G3 gloves and they are WONDERFUL. The concept of heated glove liners is good but, in my opinion, heated gloves are the way to go. FWIW, I thought the Classic gloves were too bulky. So, if you're keeping track, I've had two sets of heated glove liners and two sets of heated gloves. You know how I hate to spend any money on anything but gas and tires.
