DVD Crash Update

Thanks again for all the kind emails and comments received since I made it home (just before a snow storm). Latest update from the doc: both broken ankles are healing nicely and no followup surgery is expected. I will be "up on blocks" until Mar. 1 tongue.gif The bike sustained about $2700 in tupperware damage, but it goes into the shop this week to check on possible ABS and suspension damage. With some more luck, "black beauty" should be back together about the time my casts come off.

To all the great folks I met at my first DVD, thanks for making me feel at home (and for the great photos). And thanks again for your concern. Hope to see you at Torrey. thumbsup.gif

There's GOT to be a new nickname in this story somewhere! I'm getting some sort of play on "Hobbled"! blush.giflmao.gif

Dave,

I am glad you are healing up well. I hope you are back riding sooner rather than later.

Best,

At 52 posts? That might be a new record!

Glad to hear you're on the mend.

Thanks for the update, Dave. Give the healing the time it needs... and good luck getting the bike in shape again. Look forward to seeing you again.

Dave you are a tough guy and a trooper. I have to say that you never let the broken ankles slow you down. Wish you the best and hope to see you in Torrey also.

Blessings
