shatzbot10
Not a minor irritation. Until just a few hours ago, both mirrors were rock solid, vibration free. Suddenly, the left mirror has become very jittery, with concomitant view quite blurred. I stuffed some cloth between the mirror and its housing, to act as a temporary shock absorber. (I don't know, yet, if this solves the problem). I'm curious if this sudden turn indicates something slightly dire, such as throttle body (out-of)sync. Any suggestions? Link to comment
johnlt
I think the throttle body out of sync is an excellent candidate. Link to comment
shatzbot10
DAMN! Probably right. I stalled twice leaving a stop light soon, thereafter, I noticed the problem. Most annoyingly, I had a 20k followup less than 30 days ago. Thanks for the suggestion. Link to comment
shatzbot10
No. Checked all aspects of the mirror. Link to comment
Tilly
Mine was the same from new. Put some plastic tubing/piping tightly over the male connectors for the mirror and then replace the mirror. Solved my problem. Link to comment
Pictou
Mine has been blurry since new as well. Link to comment
RedMac
What kind of tubing did you use? My right side mirror shakes like crazy. However, it seems to be mounted snugly... Link to comment
Tilly
The clear plastic tubing used to pump beer from the keg to the beer tap. Make sure it fits tightly over the 'male' peg that the mirror pushes onto and then replace the mirror. It stops the vibration. Link to comment
