shuster
Well: My big fat fingers pressed a bit to hard on the mirror glass while adjusting and it cracked. Any insight on replacement parts? $35 from BMW seems a bit much...but if I have to I will. Thank You Link to comment

Quinn
Look on it as a sign from God to order and install multivex mirrors. Really helps a lot on freeway driving. Link to comment
Linz
Multivex don't have stock of R11**RT mirrors, they machine that cuts them isn't working and it will be more than a month before they have any. So said the boss when I enquired early this week. Linz Link to comment
Ken H.
You could check in the salvage market, but mirrors, being one of the first things to go, are pretty rare. $35 seems about right to me. Oh, and Hi from another Overland Park'er! Link to comment

I did have a set come in for our Acura MDX and we like them a lot now that we have adjusted to them. Link to comment
Matts_12GS
I have an R1100RT right side mirror glass I don't need, it's still in the box. Who needs it, toss me a PM! Link to comment
Uggles
An el cheapo fix is to go to your local supercheap auto parts and find something called Easy Mirror. It's basically a thin film metal you can cut to suit and stick on. Try to find a thinner double sided tape than what it is supplied with though. Makes for a better fit. Cheers, Link to comment
Sierra_Rider
When I dropped by bike on its side in the garage and broke the mirror glass I took it down to my local glass shop and the guy replaced the mirror like new for something like $8. Link to comment
shuster
Well I stopped at the local mirror shop and they were able to cut a replacement for $10.50. Done. Thanks for all your support Link to comment
