Any idea where I can located a new inside mat or a liner for the RT box. I don't mind a little research if you can point me in the right direction.

Not sure what you are interested in but I have used some shelf liner, the rubber/? material used in tool boxes for this purpose. I also use in under my sleep pad and under my sleeping bag to keep them from sliding around the tent floor. You can buy this material at many places, I got mine at Wally's. If you want something to keep things from sliding around, this stuff works pretty well, but I don't know what would work the keep things in place given the forces applied when we scrape pegs in a curve grin.gif If you want something to line luggage, this stuff might work, don't know. Good luck.

I picked up some carpet from an auto parts store and with a little adhesive made my own. I was inspired to complete this project from a member on this sight who posted their pictures of their lined top case. (Picture is still posted, check out the pictures listed near the Home Bar). Overall the project was very simple and took about 1 1/2 hours. Karla

I believe it was GaryB who had lined his box. Really, you should be able to get rubber or carpeted mat almost anywhere. A little double sided tape or spray adhesive and off you go.

I looked on the RT-P spare parts list and didn't see it. Check it out, typically most of these parts are available via any BMW dealer, they typcially don't know much about it, I recently bought some brackets and switches, and simply told them what I wanted. The only gotcha was that you cannot return the parts because you ordered the wrong one. wink.gif
