Channa
It seems a few people were interested in The England pics so I have decided to post our inaugural run ..I covered around 200 miles on all sorts of roads from motoway to twisty single tracks all to get a feel for the bike. I finished up in North Yorkshire, near to Whitby a small seaside town that Capt James Cook left one day in his boat and found Australia !!! Theses are a few pics of a village just outside called Goathland The sharp eyed will spot a police car in the second shot ...dating from the 1960's ..A ford Anglia Goathland is used as a filmset for heartbeat a tv drama. Finally a pic of Filey where my parents live and my first pic of the bike alittle taster I hope for some of the fine riding we have here Channa Link to comment
Francois_Dumas
Great pictures... more !! Two things are 'funny': 1) your bike looks exactly like mine, even the side stand is on the LEFT side 2) I KNOW that Anglia police car, saw it a few times at Goodwood's Festival of Speed ! Will see if I can find a picture for comparison ! Link to comment
Steve1962
Great roads for riding up there , especially around Goathland . My Grandfather had a Ford Anglia [ dark blue ] and I have fond memories of it . Safe riding , perhaps I'll see you on the road sometime when I get back on two wheels .... afterall , Yorkshire is only a stones throw from the Cotswolds . Steve Link to comment

Channa
thank you so much fellas for your kind words. Here are a couple of pics ..to be fair uploaded off the net ...the First is the Magnificent Minster in York ..the county city. to those who live in the US that have visited the Uk I suspect a good chance you have visited York it attracts more visitors than Edinburgh and is only second to London It is a Roman city with Roman walls I have lived in Yorkshire for nearly 40 years and I can honestly say when ever I visit York, i always find something I havent seen before. Guy Fawkes of the gunpowde rplot fame was born here...and the local museumhas the bed that Dick Turpin the famous highwayman and scoundrel slept on ( if he slept ) on the days before he was despatched. The second photo is of Loughrigg tarn in the English Lake District.I consider here my spiritual home, irrespective of the issues in my life ...I am relaxed here within minutes a beautiful place thanks agian for showing an interest ...perhaps a bit naughty using others pics ...but be assured i will post as much of my own work as you want me too Kindest Regards Andrew Link to comment
