ArthurKnowles
I found a used fusebox from a 99 RT on BoneyardBeemer.com. I'm going to add another fuse bank to my fuse box form this donor fusebox. If all goes well that is. I just thought I'd ask if there was any interest in how this project works out (or not). If so, I will try and document the process along with a few photos. The main idea here is to add sufficient fuses (and relay) to provide a switched bank of fuses to power my future accessories on my 96 R1100RT. Link to comment
270
First off, good for you and good luck! I'm sure that the project will go well. Having said that, depending on the location of the secondary box is, there are probably better options, but that's just my opinion. I found several nice options from West Marine that mounts perfectly under the left side panel. It's thin, and has negative terminals built in. Again, I'd be interested to understand how your project goes. Link to comment
